Maybe's writing has spanned various forms, writing for the stage, blogs, books, and more. In 2017, Maybe received the Fresh Fruit Spirit Award for Fostering Pride, Survival, History, and Progress. This award was for her solo show, Love Letters to Nobody, which also earned her a nomination for the 2018 Doric Wilson Independent Playwright Award. Previously, Maybe had won the Fresh Fruit Festival's 2015 Short Play Contest with her first short play, Do You Want Me to Stop?, which then received a Fruitie for Outstanding Ensemble.
